1. Who we are

petrawadirumtours.com is an independent travel information and comparison website about visiting Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan. We do not sell tours ourselves. When you book, you book directly with GetYourGuide or the tour operator, and their privacy policy governs that transaction.

We are the data controller for this website only. You can reach us at hello@petrawadirumtours.com.

2. What we collect

Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information for every request: IP address, browser user-agent, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. These logs exist for security and to diagnose faults, are not used to build profiles of individuals, and are retained for a limited period by the host.

We run no analytics of our own. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no first-party tracking script on this site.

We do not ask you for personal data. There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up and no account system. We never see your name, email address or payment details.

3. Third-party services and cookies

GetYourGuide. This site embeds a GetYourGuide availability widget and loads GetYourGuide's partner analytics script. These are served from getyourguide.com and may set cookies or use similar storage on your device to make the booking widget work and to attribute a booking to this site if you make one. That processing is carried out by GetYourGuide as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google's font CDN, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

We set no cookies of our own. Because this site is aimed primarily at a United States audience and sets no first-party tracking cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner. You can block or delete third-party cookies in your browser settings; the booking widget may stop working if you do.

4. Affiliate links

Links to GetYourGuide on this site carry an affiliate identifier so that a commission can be attributed to us if you book. That identifier is added by JavaScript when the page loads and is visible in the destination URL. It does not identify you personally to us — we receive aggregate commission reporting, not individual customer data. See our affiliate disclosure for the full picture.

5. Your rights

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with comparable law, you have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. In practice we hold almost nothing: server logs held by our host, and nothing else.

To exercise any of these rights, or to complain about how we handle data, email hello@petrawadirumtours.com. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

For data held by GetYourGuide about a booking you made, contact GetYourGuide directly — we have no access to it and cannot action a request on your behalf.

6. Changes

We update this policy when the services on the site change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
